Say Goodbye to Denture Glue

Are you tired of the daily battle with denture glue? Maybe you are done with worrying that your dentures can no longer handle your favourite foods.

If these sound familiar, you’ll love implant-retained dentures from Nu Dental. Implant-retained dentures are replacement teeth that fix securely to titanium implants in the jaw bone.

The implants act as a permanent replacement for the teeth’s natural roots, meaning no more loose dentures.

Just like conventional dentures, you can remove implanted dentures whenever you need to. But – crucially – they only come out when you want them to.

This means you can get rid of denture glue for good – and you’ll no longer have to worry about what’s on today’s menu.

Choosing Implanted Dentures

Restore Function

The durability and strength of titanium implants mean you can chew and eat your favourite food once again without worrying whether your dentures can handle it. And because implanted dentures don’t require an upper pallet to stay fixed in place, you’ll find that taste is fully restored too.

Great for Jaw Health

Biocompatible titanium prevents jawbone deterioration and the loss of bone density that occurs when teeth go missing. That’s not only great news for jaw health – it also takes years off your appearance by reversing the sallow cheeks and premature facial ageing that accompanies prolonged denture wear.

No Compromise on Comfort

Our clinical dental technicians will hand-craft your new dentures precisely to fit the contours of your smile. That means no more sores caused by slipping dentures. Implant-retained dentures will fit so comfortably, you’ll quickly forget you’re wearing them. Unlike conventional dentures, implanted dentures won’t have to be constantly re-lined and adjusted to fit the changing contours of your gums.

Natural Aesthetics

Forget about the exaggerated false teeth look you may have associated with dentures in the past. Implanted dentures by Nu Dental look completely natural and 100% identical to real teeth. Not even your nearest and dearest will know they’re not your natural teeth.

Your Consultation

We’ll begin with an in-depth consultation to assess your smile. We’ll take X-rays and digital scans of your mouth to help us plan the placement of your implants with laser accuracy. We can also show you a digital smile preview of how you will look after treatment. We think you’ll love what you see!

Crafting Your Smile

We’ll use the scans to design your new replacement teeth, which will be hand-crafted by clinical dental technicians in our laboratory. While the technicians work, our experienced surgical team will place the implants in your jawbone. It’s a surprisingly quick and painless procedure carried out under local anaesthetic – so you won’t feel a thing.

Stunning Results

With your implants placed, it’s time to fit your denture and see your stunning new smile. Following some final adjustments to shape and polish, the denture will stay fixed to the implant’s abutment (the part above the gum line) via a secure clip until you are ready to remove it.

Implanted Dentures FAQs

Can my gums and jaw support implants?
We’ll conduct a complete and thorough consultation with you to ensure that your smile is suitable for treatment. We’ll check things like gum health, bone density and more to determine if implanted dentures are the best solution for you. If you have poor gum health or low jawbone density, we may be able to provide zygomatic implants or bone grafting to help.
How long do implanted dentures last?
With proper care, both your implants and denture should give you years of problem-free wear. Our team will provide you with full aftercare and advice on looking after your implanted dentures to prolong their lifetime.
How do I look after my implanted dentures?
To get your implanted dentures to last as long as possible, you should look after them like you would your regular teeth by keeping up a great oral hygiene routine that includes brushing at least twice a day, flossing and using mouthwash to keep them clean.
Do I need to remove my implanted dentures at night?
Although you can sleep in implanted dentures, we recommend removing them at night to soak while you sleep. Doing so will help keep your dentures clean and bacteria-free.
Will I have to put up with no teeth throughout treatment?
We might sometimes offer you temporary dentures but this isn’t always necessary. Whether we need to or not, you won’t be left without teeth at any point in the treatment.
Are implants new?
No. Implants have been going strong since the sixties and have always been a trusted and reliable treatment. The technology only gets better year by year.
What happens if I don’t get my teeth replaced?
Your jaw can deteriorate over time if there are no teeth to hold its structure. Your face could begin to look gaunt or saggy as your jaw loses vital structural support. Replacing missing teeth is always recommended.
