Dr Ismaeel Rafiq

Dr Ismaeel graduated from the University of Leeds with distinction, receiving local and national awards. Following graduation, he completed hospital-based training including working within an oral surgery department focussing on the surgical extraction of complex and impacted teeth. To further consolidate his surgical expertise, Dr Ismaeel completed the MFDS qualification with the Royal College of Surgeons. 

Dr Ismaeel then worked as restorative dentist in the Leeds Dental Institute, gaining extensive experience in advanced full-mouth rehabilitation, complex root canal treatments, and challenging dentures. He is currently completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Orthodontics and has a particular passion for orthodontic-led smile makeovers.

He has published several articles and presented his work multiple times at national and international level. It is clear he has a focus in evidence-based dentistry, ensuring every treatment is designed with longevity and precision in mind.

Known for his calm and reassuring manner, Dr Ismaeel loves helping patients feel relaxed and confident while achieving healthy, beautifully balanced smiles tailored to their individual goals.
